Twitter jokes cost Tourists a vacation in the US

Two people were denied entry into the US via Los Angeles Airport ( LAX) due to twitter messages they had posted prior to their trip.

“free this week for a quick gossip /prep before I go and destroy America?’ is one of the tweets that was written by one of the tourists to one if his friends.

It was because of that tweet and another one that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) flagged them as potential threats.

Upon arrival at LAX the two tourists were allegedly detained by armed guards, quizzed for 5 hours before being locked up overnight. They were then kept in separate holding cells for 12 hours before being put on a flight home!

A lesson for those who joke around on Social Media……you are being watched!
