A well established Tours & Travel firm in Arusha - Tanzania is looking to recruit self motivated, dynamic, & experienced individuals to fill a vacancy in the tours & travel department. Candidate must have detailed knowledge of tourism in East Africa particularly Tanzania
Minimum Requirements:
- Knowledge of computer applications
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A bachelors degree/diploma in a Tour/Travel related field from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in a similar position in a Tour/Travel Firm
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Fluency in a Foreign language will be an added advantage eg French, German, Spanish
Duties and Resonsibilities:
- Handle client inquiries via internet as well as direct calls and face to face meetings
- Preparation of invoices & managing of correspondence
- Tour costing which includes preparing client quotations in a timely manner
- Plan and design tour itineraries
- Liaising directly with agents and clients worldwide
- Follow up on potential clients and inquiries made
